THE LOUNGE AND MARKET BARS

The Masons Arms is famed for the excellence of its lovingly cared for real ale; a fact recognised by CAMRA and many locals, and we don’t just mean farmers on market days. The Masons Arms has been awarded the Louth and District CAMRA Pub of the Year award three times as well as coming runner-up on three separate occasions. Even Roger Protz writing in the Sunday Observer said “the Dark Mild, sadly a dying breed of beer, is kept in succulent condition at the Masons Arms”.

Four real ales are ever present offerings along with two constantly changing Guest Ales and a Real Cider. The range of Guest ales covers all varieties from stouts, porters and milds to bitters, golden ales and fruit beers, with something to please everbody.
