HORSE RIDING

In the Lincolnshire Wolds there are many leafy country lanes, bridleways and grass verges which provide and ideal environment for horse riding. There are few gates and a lot of places along the way that are horse friendly. Bridleways in particular provide an excellent way to view the countryside and at the same time exercise for yourself and your horse.
A booklet produced by Lincolnshire County Council and the British Horse Society has numerous circular horse rides for the county, some of which explore the Wolds' countryside. The books are available to purchase from Lincolnshire County Council, Development Directorate on 01522 782070.
